Filter XML in URL

I'm trying to pull specific XML data from a webpage at the following URL: http://ift.tt/2gbBk3x

This URL points me to an XML document that only contains incidents with the status of new.

However, I need to assign multiple conditions to the XML. I've tried searching, but I'm not familiar with keywords involved in this type of task so I've had some limited results.
