Java Spring- auto action

I dont think this is the right title for my question. I'm working in a backend web project in java spring mvc about selling old things, and my mantor told me that i need a function to auto delete old post ( more than 10 days ago for a post and do it daily). But im a newbie in spring and i just know how to make a controller which was called when a request from client was sent to server.

Hope anyone can give me keywords or tutorials to solve this problem. Thanks.
