Visual Studio hangs when I set storage connection string setting

I am trying to follow this tutorial : http://ift.tt/2bfVgSt

When I try to set the storage connection string for the Web role, Visual Studio locks up when I try to set the value. Is something wrong with my azure sdk? Thanks,Peter
