How to prevent from twice click 404?

I'm making a blog by django, but there is a problem. The index page is 127.0.0.1:8000/ When we press the button like archives, it turns like this:127.0.0.1:8000/archives/. However, when I press it again, 404Error happens because it goes to 127.0.0.1:8000/archives/archives/. How to prevent that? That part of template looks like this. <li class="nav-item"><a class="button-success pure-button" href="archives/">Archives</a></li>
