Configuring my web app to be used simultaneously

I am making a web app using django. The web app is a tic-tac toe game. My app works fine when it is being only used once at a time. But when I try to play two different games on different tabs, it behaves as if I am playing only one game. It means both the games are changing the same variables. How can I configure the app so that both the games have their own variables? I am new to web development area.

Example:

Game board on first tab:
X X -
- O -
- - -
Game board on second tab:
O - X
- - -
- - -
the result is that 'X' wins.
