I been looking for a Skype api for java and I haven't found anything that has satisfied me.
The only Skype api for java that I found and that actually work is http://ift.tt/13QzH5y this one, while it does work, it does have a few bug for example it doesn't read skype messages that comes from the web skype version. It's also not currently being maintained. I could use it for my project but I rather not as it requires a running skype version in the bg and can't read all skype messages.
So after some time I tried to look at skype API's for other languages and found one lib for node.js http://ift.tt/1i65iHk it works very well, it can't read group chats that is still using the p2p system, but for me its not a huge withdrawn. But problem is I want to do it in java because I want to learn more about java, so I went ahead and tried to recode it in java, but my lack of expertise with cookies, auth etc. is very limited, so I wasn't able to finish it or even get far.
I know there is an official Java skype SDK, but problem is you need a buisness account for it and I don't have one, I tried the sandbox but for me Microsofts docs is really confusing.
So what I am asking for is, is there a lib for java that is similiar to skyweb (where it fetch the information for skype web) or could someone give me directions on how to recode skyweb for Java, stuff like what I need to think of.
Thanks for the help.
