Is there any relation between touchscreen and applications like web browsers that affect rendering

I'm currently working on a web site for my client and we have an issue with html and css rendering , my client has a touch screen laptop , he see that may be the problem is in there , my opinion is that there no relation between the touch functionality and browser's rendering of web page. Any clarification is highly appreciated. Thanks
