How to process data in a Spring Web Flow Project?

A Spring Web Flow Project such as a airline booking system, order processing procedure, of course, is to use the spring web flow. But what method can be better in processing basic data such as adding,deleting,modifying,researching flight information. I dont't want to use servlet. how about using Spring mvc. or other better integration method?
