Why does my websites style change when i put on a public server?

Okay so I coded up this little dummy website for fun and was planning on uploading it to a free server for fun. Well when i view it on my computer it all looks nice and good and everything is in place. But when i upload it to a server everything is out of place and some images aren't showing.
