Why are CSS lines not sharp if not at multiples of 45 degrees?

When using repeating-linear-gradient, I notice that unless the gradient is rotated at an angle which is a multiple of 45 degrees, the lines are not sharp and instead are very blocky.

Here is a Codepen that illustrates this issue. As you can see, the top three are very sharp (they are all rotated at multiples of 45 degrees) whereas the bottom three (not rotated at multiples of 45 degrees) are blocky and pixelated.

For example, in the code below, div.fourfive gives a very sharp line, whereas div.onezerozero gives a blocky and pixelated one.

What is the reason for this?

symfony access javascript in javascript for creating a worker

I am using Symfony and i want to access a javascript which is located in /web/js to create a worker.

        var worker = new Worker('/web/js/recorderWorker.js');

Does someone knows how symfony links the javascripts, because this is not working.

Configuring www as a prefix in iis for your domain?

My problem is pretty stupid. I am hosting about 20 sites right now. I deleted some records out of the DNS configuration Manager in Windows Server 2012 Datacenter edition. I am in a remote connection and trying to configure the right DNS record to get the prefix www.domain.com. Can someone quickly tell me which kind of record I need and where I should point it to?

I have tried CNAME records and A records. No result. So I might do something wrong.

The problem is, when I click the play button. It just plays after some seconds. It's usually around 5-6 seconds. I'm afraid that the user will get blind and say what the heck is going on?

How do I calculate how much time it takes to convert text to speech in speech synthesis, I can show preparing to play.
